Composite card

Info

In a nutshell

A composite card, sometimes called a comp card or sed card, is a PDF with custom-branded staff member profile cards that contain selected information and/or photos. It can be used in hostessing, casting, and the event industry when there is a need to present available staff members to a customer who orders your services.

The possibility to configure and export a composite card directly from the system gives you the ability to generate and send an on-demand presentation of your staff members when needed. Composite cards are automatically filled with attributes and photos from your staff members' profiles. That means it is not necessary to keep and maintain composite cards in a third-party software to make sure they are on hand and up to date. All you need to do is to click a button in Sinch.

The possibility to customize composite card colors and branding also ensures that the presentation of your staff members to the customer is aligned with your company's brand and visual identity.

You can either select staff members from your staff list and export a PDF with composite cards of these staff members. Or if you already have a job entered into Sinch that is filled with candidate staff members and you want to send the drafted staff members to your client to make a final decision, just export the composite cards directly from the job detail.

Composite card configuration

Before you start configuring the composite card itself, make sure you have all of the staff member profile attributes that you want to use to fill your composite card with configured staff member-specific data.

To configure a composite card, go to SettingsDocument settingsComposite card

A composite card consists of a staff member's name, customizable card content text, up to 4 images sourced from the selected gallery attribute and branding elements - logo of your company, background decorative element in a customizable color, and a footer text where you can add optional additional texts, such as contact information or legal disclaimers.

A preview of the composite card is updated live and you can select any staff member from your database to be used as a source of preview data.

Name format - You can choose to display the staff member's full name, just their first name, or first name + surname initial.

Name color - You can pick any color either as a HEX value, or via the color picker.

Card content - Card content is located in the left third of the composite card and you can fill it in with any text. However, the most powerful option of the content editor is inserting placeholders that will be filled with variable attribute values once the composite card is exported. In combination with static text, this allows you to generate composite cards with up to date, staff member-specific information.

Example: If you write down static text "Age:" and insert the placeholder [[Worker.Workerinfo.age]], the resulting information on the composite card will be for example, Age: 31 for a staff member who is currently 31 years old.

Default content font size - You can choose size of the text font.

Number of images - A composite card can display up to 4 images, including the profile picture

Include a profile picture as the first image - A staff member's profile picture can be used as the first (or only) image on the composite card.

Footer - Allows you to define additional text for the composite card footer.

Background element color - The background element is purely decorative. You can pick any color either as a HEX value, or via the color picker to complement other branding elements of the comp card, such as a logo and font colors. If you do not want to have this element on your composite card, set the color to white (HEX #FFFFFF)
