Administrator profile¶
Creating and keeping an updated profile helps you to work with Sinch effectively and customize it to your needs. To go to your "Profile page", click on your name in the top-right corner, then select Profile. From your "Profile page" you can easily:
Change your profile picture¶
- Hover over your current picture and click the Edit button.
- Click Upload image, select your new profile picture from your computer and click Open.
- You can upload images in JPG or PNG format with a minimal size of 200px × 200px. Your whole face must be visible in the photo.
- If needed, you can rotate your picture by clicking the arrows underneath the preview or crop it by dragging the grid over the preview.
- If you want to change your profile picture, click Change, select a new profile picture from your computer and click Open.
- Click Save when you are finished.
Edit your profile¶
- Click the Edit button at the top of the page and you’ll be able to edit your:
- Login credentials
- Name
- Surname
- Mobile phone
- Application language
- Click into any of these fields and make your changes.
- Click Save.
Change your password¶
- Click the Actions button at the top of the page and select Change password.
- Enter your new password into both the Password and Repeat password fields. The passwords must be identical.
- Click Save.
Set your notification preferences¶
- Click the Notification settings button at the top of the page.
- Check the boxes for all your prefered options. For example, if you want to get an email if there is a new feedback in the application, tick the box next to that option, otherwise leave it unticked.
- If you want to get an email if there is a staff member profile change in the application and you have checked the box, you must also select which changes you want to be informed about. Select all of the information changes that interest you in the drop-down menu. To select more than one, hold the Ctrl key and click on your selection, e.g. Phone number and Birthdate.
- Click Save.
Switch user roles¶
If you have registered for more roles (e.g. you are registered as a staff member for a crewing company and an administrator for a company providing technicians) in the app, you can switch in between your two profiles by clicking the Switch role button. For example, if you want to edit your staff member profile without having to switch the whole application into the worker portal view.
Go to your agency management page¶
Further down on your profile page, you see an overview of all of your agencies (one or more). By clicking the name of the agency, you will be redirected onto the Agency detail page. For more information, see Agencies.
